EXperience coastal walking with Julia Bradbury this June

It's National Walking Month throughout May and to celebrate we want to tell you about a very exciting opportunity for budding and keen walkers to stay with us at The Grand.

Following on from a very sucessful partnership last year, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays has once again chosen our hotel as the base for its four-night (Sunday 4 - Thursday 8 June) Sussex and Eastbourne rambling package with TV personality and walking enthusiast, Julia Bradbury.

With this exciting package, you can walk in the footsteps of Julia Bradbury and experience some of our favourite south coast routes made famous in her series 'Walks with a View', while enjoying the luxurious comfort of five-star accommodation here at The Grand.

As part of the special four-night package you will enjoy three guided walks showcasing the very best in outstanding beauty and breath-taking views that Eastbourne and Sussex has to offer - which we believe truly has to be seen to be believed.

Your first step on the rambling break will be a picturesque walk along the coast of the High Weald from the village of Pett then along the Saxon Shore Way finishing off at the stunning cliffs of Hastings.

Next will be a circular walk from Alfriston, taking in the 'Long Man of Wilmington' - a remarkable Bronze Age outline cut into the chalk hills.  The route will also take you through the charming village of Jevington, home of the Banoffee Pie and the Lullington Heath Nature Reseve.

To finish the week, the final walk will see you return to the incredible South Downs National Park.  Starting with coffee at The Tiger Inn in East Dean where you will be joined by Julia Bradbury. The walk will take you from Beachy Head to the Seven Sisters Country Park across some of the most iconic white cliff coastal scenery in England - a site that is truly not to be missed.

On your last night, you will enjoy a sumptuous dinner with us at The Grand, where you will be joined by Julia Bradbury herself, giving you the opportunity to hear more about her walking adventures around the UK.
At the dinner, you will also recieve a complimentary goodie bag containing Julia's recent book and DVD together with some high quality outdoor kit - setting you up perfectly for your next walking adventure.

The package is available to book from Sunday 4 - Thursday 8 June and starts from £799 per person, based on two adults sharing, including accommodation, breakfast dinner each night, all guided walks and dinner with Julia on the last night.
