As one would expect from a large seaside hotel, The Grand Hotel has been looking after children's needs for many years. After listening to the needs of our younger guests and their parents, we developed our superb children's facilities which make The Grand Hotel an ideal hotel not only for parents, but for their children too.

From the moment of arrival (where children have their own dedicated check-in steps) children are warmly welcomed. From there on, our excellent range of activities and ideas available ensure that boredom is not an issue!

The Grand knows that all parents need peace of mind, which is why our well-equipped playroom is run only by qualified carers,

whose sole objectives are the safety of your children and their enjoyment.

While parents relax - whether to enjoy the luxury of an uninterrupted lunch in either of our award winning restaurants or by pampering themselves in the Health Club - children will be playing games with other children and taking part in fun activities around the hotel.

And because we know that not all children like the same dishes as their parents, or the more formal atmosphere of the two restaurants, we offer a special children's High Tea, which combines good, nutritious food with your children's favourite dishes.
