2017 is well and truly upon us and now the festive season is over, we are looking ahead to all the exciting events we have planned for the year.
At The Grand we are extremely passionate about bringing you high quality musical events and performances and 2017 is no exception, as we welcome back the highly - renowned Shelley Van Loen and The Palm Court Strings.
If you're yet to have the pleasure of attending a performance by Shelley and her musicians - it is an event not to be missed. The versatile and immensely talented group of musicians have performed around the world at iconic music venues and occasions such as the Royal Albert Hall and Laurence Olivier's 70th birthday party. Relax, unwind and let the Palm Court Strings take you back in time as they perform authentic Palm Court arrangements dating as far back as 1900 - they are so committed to re-creating the bygone era, they even perform in period costume!
We always reserve a special place in our calendar for the Palm Court Strings and they hold the longest residency of any performers here at The Grand, showing they are clearly a firm favourite with our guests too.
Shelley and her group will be performing on the final Sunday of each month excluding June, July and December, starting on Sunday 25th February. With music that will transport you back in time. Shelley Van Loen and her Orchestra provide the perfect musical accompaniment to a sumptuous afternoon tea at The Grand and tickets are available from £29.50 per person.
