We are thrilled to invite you to our September Ladies Luncheon, enjoy fantastic company, delicious food, and a riveting talk from guest speaker, Deborah Gage the Curator, for and on behalf of the Firle Estate trustees.
The friendly gathering will begin with a drinks reception on arrival at 12.00 midday, followed by a delicious three-course set lunch with a glass of wine per person, after which we shall enjoy the presentation by our guest speaker.
Deborah Gage's talk will focus on the history of the Gage family who have lived at Firle Place for over 500 years and the amalgamation of various collections at Firle, particularly during the 20th century through primogeniture, as well as a number of discoveries made looking after the collection in her role as its curator.
