Celebrate Christmas together with a complete four-night festive experience at The Grand Hotel. Everything is meticulously planned for your enjoyment, allowing you to relax and indulge in traditional hospitality and service. It’s the ideal setting for treating the entire family.
WEDNESDAY 23RD DECEMBER
Indulge in a light afternoon tea accompanied with entertainment provided by Shelley van Loen and the Palm Court Strings. Join us for a delightful pre dinner glass of Champagne with the management team. For your first evening, a welcome dinner will be served in the Garden Room, followed by live music in the Lounge. Younger guests can have fun in the games room during their stay.
CHRISTMAS EVE
THURSDAY 24TH DECEMBER
Experience a guided tasting led by our Cellar Master, where you can savour splendid sparkling wines from Sussex.
Doing some last-minute Christmas shopping? Our Concierge team can help arrange transportation.
Enjoy the delicious taste of a themed Buffet Luncheon and a glass of Champagne in our Garden Room.
Participate in our Family General Knowledge Quiz, all while enjoying light afternoon tea. The victorious team will be rewarded with a Fortnum & Mason hamper delivered to your doorstep after the Christmas festivities.
Come and join us in The Great Hall, where the St Mary’s choir will enchant you with their carols, followed by a delightful serving of Champagne and canapés.
Enjoy a splendid three-course Christmas Eve Dinner in the Garden Room, followed by music from the Co-stars Band.
CHRISTMAS DAY
FRIDAY 25TH DECEMBER
After a leisurely Christmas day breakfast, having opened your gift from Father Christmas, take a short walk along to the bandstand where Christmas morning music will be delighting the crowd.
Return to the sound of live music in the Great Hall whilst you sip on a glass of Champagne before a delightful Christmas Day Buffet Luncheon.
Relax in the lounges where homemade sandwiches and Christmas cake will be served, while our pianist ‘tinkles the ivories’. We’ll also be tuning in for the King's Christmas Day speech.
To wrap up the perfect Christmas Day, enjoy a glass of Champagne in the lounges followed by a traditional four-course Christmas Dinner in the Garden Room, before finishing the night with a live performance in the lounge. This is a black-tie event.
BOXING DAY
SATURDAY 26TH DECEMBER
After breakfast, experience the bracing sea air and take a 10-minute stroll to the bandstand for the Boxing Day morning concert or for the brave, how about a dip in the sea?
Return to savour a glass of Champagne before treating yourself to the delightful Best of British Buffet Luncheon at the Garden Room.
Enjoy family-friendly entertainment with snooker, table tennis, board games, or the chance to pre-book at Eastbourne’s Ice Rink.
Unwind in the lounges where you can enjoy a light afternoon tea. Indulge in a little post-Christmas pampering in our Health Club, where treatments are available for those who have booked in advance.
In the evening, enjoy a glass of Champagne with canapés followed by a Gala Dinner in the Garden Room. Then enjoy live entertainment from the Co-Stars Band in the Chatsworth Lounge. This is a black-tie event.

Following a hearty breakfast in the Garden Room, we bid you a fond farewell. Alternatively, stay another night or two, you are very welcome to extend your visit.

OUR YOUNGER GUESTS
A special Children’s package of £480.00 per child for 3 - 12 year olds when sharing a room with 2 adults (arriving 23rd, departing 27th December), with children aged 13-16 at £580.00 on the same basis. Young adults aged 17+ are charged at the adult price.
This includes breakfast, lunch, light afternoon tea, dinner, a soft drink before meals, Boxing Day pantomime ticket, Christmas party entertainment, and gift.
Children’s menu is offered at lunch and dinner in the Garden Room Restaurant.
