As a new era dawns, we are looking ahead with a genuine sense of excitement to the re-opening of our doors.
Whilst you have been away, the team have been working tirelessly to care for our stunning hotels and gardens, and to ensure that both our returning and new guests receive the personal levels of hospitality for which Elite Hotels have become renowned. We are mindful that the world has changed so naturally we are adapting our services to embrace any requirements necessary to provide for the safety and wellbeing of our guests and personnel; rest assured, we will do this as seamlessly as possible.
Spring has brought an explosion of colour and our gardens and parklands are looking truly wonderful and very inviting, providing fresh air, space and tranquillity. The wildlife too is in their element with hundreds of acres at their disposal and with minimal human interruption. The grounds will provide the perfect environment to also observe social distancing but with the benefit of an idyllic setting.
We are currently taking bookings for arrivals from Saturday 4th July 2020 onwards and very much hope that we can welcome you again soon.
In the meantime, I’d like to extend a personal thank you to all those who have sent messages of support over the past few months and we look forward to honouring you with exemplary service combined with distinctive experiences in our unique collection of signature properties.

Visit the only 5 star seaside resort hotel in England
Affectionately known as The White Palace, the Grand Hotel Eastbourne commands breathtaking views of the sea and the dramatic cliffs at Beachy Head. Grand by name but not by nature, The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne is not only the only 5 star luxury hotel to be found in an English seaside town, we’re also one of the friendliest. Find out why we're the natural destination for anyone looking for luxury hotels in Eastbourne.
A family feel
Setting the standard for hotels in Eastbourne and indeed the entire South Coast, The Grand is a landmark on the Eastbourne seafront, where we have been looking after generations of returning happy families, and we often welcome back parents, who first stayed with us as youngsters, checking in with children or grandchildren of their own. The Grand stands out amongst other Eastbourne hotels being only a short walk from the Pier in one direction, and the glorious Sussex downs in the other, so we are ideally located for exploring this charming corner of East Sussex.
The perfect setting for business or pleasure
Few hotels offer such a complete range of leisure facilities including a luxury outdoor swimming pool, special holiday packages for children and a choice of dining options that includes arguably the finest gourmet restaurant on the entire south coast. And even though we do like to be beside the seaside, we also know how to look after business people as well with a wide range of superb conference venue and business facilities, and no little expertise built up over many years. However, we believe it’s our unique blend of friendly service that’s just as important for bringing families, business people, young romantics and anniversary couples back to The Grand Hotel time and time again. Many of our staff have been with us for ten or twenty years or more. It’s as if they find The Grand just as hard to leave as our guests do.
