His girlfriend would often look dreamily at the Grand Hotel on their regular trips to the seafront and say that’s where she would love to get married one day, having grown up in Eastbourne. So, when it came to the big proposal, the gentleman got down on one knee on the Wish Tower steps (just off the beach opposite the hotel.) He then brought her inside The Grand where Billie-Jo was waiting with Champagne to congratulate the happy couple and take them on a personalised tour of the building and the wedding is now confirmed, at the Grand of course!
